About Us

Welcome to Daily Reading

Daily Reading (hi.himexams.in/ is an independent online publication focused on accessible, evidence-informed information about mental health care in the United States. We help readers navigate the realities of finding, affording, and sustaining quality mental health support — from outpatient therapy and medication management to telehealth, insurance benefits, crisis resources, and specialised care for specific populations.

Our Mission

The mental health system can be confusing, expensive, and difficult to navigate, especially for people already in distress. Our mission is to translate that complexity into plain language. Every article on Daily Reading aims to answer a real question that a real person might ask their search engine at 2 a.m. — and to do so in a way that respects the reader’s intelligence, time, and circumstances.

What We Cover

  • Finding care: matching with the right provider, understanding licensure, and evaluating in-network options.
  • Paying for care: health insurance benefits, Medicare and Medicaid, out-of-pocket costs, sliding-scale clinics, and appeals.
  • Levels of care: outpatient therapy, medication management, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalisation (PHP), and inpatient services.
  • Crisis support: when and how to use 988, emergency rooms, mobile crisis teams, and warm lines.
  • Specialised care: trauma and PTSD, perinatal depression, dual diagnosis, geriatric mental health, LGBTQ+ affirming care, and more.
  • Telehealth: the trade-offs of online therapy, online psychiatry, and virtual care platforms.
  • Long-term wellness: maintenance plans, resilience, and life after treatment.

How We Work

Daily Reading is editorially independent. The advertising that supports the site is kept entirely separate from the editorial process — advertisers do not commission, review, or influence our content. We disclose monetisation practices openly on our Advertising Disclosure page, and we explain how we research, source, and update articles in our Editorial Policy.

We are not a healthcare provider. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. The information we publish is intended to support — not replace — the relationship between a reader and a qualified clinician. Our Medical Disclaimer explains this in full.

Our Standards

We adhere to the principles of Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness and Trustworthiness (E-E-A-T) when researching and publishing. That means:

  • We cite primary sources where possible — peer-reviewed research, federal agencies (HHS, CMS, SAMHSA, CDC, NIMH), professional bodies (APA, NAMI), and licensed clinicians.
  • We update articles when guidelines, laws, or coverage rules change.
  • We disclose meaningful uncertainty rather than papering over it.
  • We correct errors transparently and date our updates.

Get in Touch

Questions, corrections, partnership inquiries, press requests, and reader feedback are all welcome. The fastest way to reach us is by email at support@kalmausam.in, or via our Contact page.

Thank you for reading. If something we have published has helped you take a next step toward better mental health care, that is the entire point of this work.
